- Understanding the design principles of an efficient hull of a high-speed craft from a resistance point of view. Ability to set up a problem and use of properly selected tools and methods, solving and analyzing the flow around the ship hull in order to determine the total resistance of the ship. Understanding the methods of predicting the total resistance and the dynamic stability of single and multi-hull high-speed crafts.
- Student responsibilities:
- Attending the lectures and excercises and complete project assignment.
- Grading and evaluation of student work over the course of instruction and at a final exam:
