- Introduction to the numerical methods with an emphasis on numerical modelling of heat and mass transfer in aerospace engineering. The main objective of the course is to provide knowledge necessary for the mathematical modelling of heat and mass transfer and numerical simulations, which then can serve for a better understanding of real processes used in aerospace applications.
- Student responsibilities:
- Regular attendance at the classes (the lectures and computer exercises). Independent solving and successful submission of the project tasks assigned during the classes.
- Grading and evaluation of student work over the course of instruction and at a final exam:
- Evaluation of the project assignments (45%), evaluation of the results achieved at oral exams (55%).
