- This course aims to provide knowledge about energy systems in the industry, and the energy efficiency of their processes. Students will be introduced to energy consumption in the industry, industrial policy in the EU and the Republic of Croatia, and recommendations and barriers for improving the energy efficiency in the industry. An overview of industrial processes and analysis of the industrial energy systems and their energy demands are given. The course provides knowledge on the connection between energy utilisation and industrial generation, but also the impact of industrial energy systems on the environment.
- Student responsibilities:
- Attending classes and participating in assignments. Making homeworks. Applying computer tools.
- Grading and evaluation of student work over the course of instruction and at a final exam:
- Continuous work through the semester by making homeworks.
