- Get acquainted with the types and processes of packaging production, the basics of packaging design, printing and recovery.
- Student responsibilities:
- Attending lectures and exercises and written knowledge tests.
- Grading and evaluation of student work over the course of instruction and at a final exam:
- Class attendance. Midterm or final written exam - 70% Project - 20% Oral exam - 10%
- Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to (learning outcomes):
- 1 . Apply knowledge of materials, technologies and technical systems in business, societal and environmental contexts in line with engineering ethics.
- 2 . Describe the basic procedures for the production of paper, metal, glass and plastic packaging.
- 3 . Recognize the process of making packaging on a specific example.
- 4 . Suggest the type of packaging material with regard to the requirements of the contents to be packed in the packaging.
- 5 . Choose the packaging production procedure.
