- Familiarizing with energy management, with emphasis on cross sectoral approach. Fundamentals of product strategy management, studying methods of energy accounting and energy auditing in energy sector, industry and final consumption and finding opportunities to increase the rational use of energy.
- Student responsibilities:
- Attending classes and making seminars and project assignments.
- Grading and evaluation of student work over the course of instruction and at a final exam:
- Continuous work through the semester by making seminars and project assignments.
- Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to (learning outcomes):
- 1 . Define energy properties of an industrial or housing object
- 2 . Identify best techno-economical solution within energy auditing process
- 3 . Develop simple energy calculator in one of the object oriented programming languages
- 4 . Evaluate long term energy demand of a chosen economic sector
- 5 . Construct a cost benefit analysis for energy management measures on a local/regional or national level
