- 1. Introduce students with accreditation infrastructure in Europe and Croatia, and basic concepts and principles of quality management in the laboratory. 2. Qualify students to apply the standard HRN EN ISO / IEC 17025 when implementing a quality system in the laboratory.
- Student responsibilities:
- Grading and evaluation of student work over the course of instruction and at a final exam:
- 75 % - colloquiums or final written exam 25 % - seminars and workshops
- Methods of monitoring quality that ensure acquisition of exit competences:
- Overall students success in colloquiums, and the willingness of students to other forms of engagement (discussions, seminars, workshops, etc.) will be analysed. Teachers work and quality of this program will be evaluated through university questionnaire within ISVU system.
- Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to (learning outcomes):
- Students will be able to: 1. Understand the accreditation infrastructure in Europe and Croatia. 2. Interpret the requirements of the management system according to HRN EN ISO / IEC 17025. 3. Apply tools to validate metrology competence. 4. Understand laboratory performance assessment and accreditation of calibration laboratory. 5. Competently participate in the process of introducing a quality system in calibration laboratory.
