- Students solve a chosen research problem defined as a group task and divided to individual subtasks. Solution procedure comprise conceptual level, design work out, components manufacturing, system testing and measurements results evaluation.
- Student responsibilities:
- Grading and evaluation of student work over the course of instruction and at a final exam:
- Assessment and evaluation of students" work is carried out in a way that students submit a report of their work three times per semester, a final report and short presentation (slides) of the entire work in presence of an audience of the students and professor.
- Methods of monitoring quality that ensure acquisition of exit competences:
- Continuous monitoring by the professor and assistant. The student upon completion of this course is familiar with the complex issues of experimental set up and measurement"s systems.
- Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to (learning outcomes):
- To argue a view about design and systems installation using renewable energy sources. To select the option of the effective work of thermoacoustic generator using solar energy. To rank the phases priority for project of photovoltaic modules installation. To suggest proposal changes and to argue a view on changes of the heat exchanger design in the system with thermoacoustic generator. To invent a system for hydrogen production via water electrolysis. To design schemes of the photovoltaic modules / wind turbine coupled system. To invent a hydrogen fuel cell powered bicycle.
